This activity was originally presented live at the 2025 Oncology Pharmacists Connect Conference in Austin, Texas.
Program Description
The treatment of relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) is rapidly changing, with bispecific antibodies (BsAbs) and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) emerging as promising alternatives. However, oncology pharmacists face challenges in staying current with these therapies, particularly in interpreting complex clinical data. Many pharmacists struggle with sequencing therapies and managing adverse event prophylaxis. This session aims to provide oncology pharmacists with the necessary tools to stay current with guidelines, assess the role of BsAbs and ADCs in treating RRMM, and manage complexities of adverse event prophylaxis. Key highlights will include in-depth reviews of BCMAxCD3-targeting BsAbs, GPRC5DxCD3-targeting BsAbs, and BCMA-directed ADCs (belantamab mafodotin), along with emerging therapies and targets. Oncology pharmacists will gain perspectives supporting the individualized treatment selection for patients who are refractory or ineligible for chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy, considering patient- and disease-specific factors, and navigating newly published sequencing guidance. A significant focus will be placed on proactive management of adverse events, including strategies to mitigate ocular toxicities, cytokine release syndrome, and infection risks.

Educational Objectives
At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Analyze emerging data on bispecific antibodies (BsAbs) and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) in relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM)
- Document recently published guidance and key patient-specific factors to guide the use of ADCs and BsAbs in RRMM
- Apply best practices for managing ocular adverse effects (AEs) of ADCs in MM, focusing on prevention and patient education to improve adherence to eye care regimens
- Examine preventive measures for BsAb-related AEs, considering the latest clinical findings and expert guidance
