Program Description
The management of relapsed/refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) has become increasingly complex due to the rapid evolution of novel immunotherapies. However, the pace of change has led to challenges in staying informed of evidence-based treatment recommendations, sequencing of therapies, and managing adverse effects. Oncology pharmacists are crucial in guiding clinicians on therapy selection and tailoring treatment plans to individual patient needs, but many have limited experience with these novel immunotherapies, making it difficult for them to incorporate patient- and disease-specific factors into treatment decisions. The session will dissect treatment algorithms for both frontline and relapsed/refractory DLBCL, emphasizing considerations for therapy selection, including patient-specific factors, prior treatments, and adverse effect profiles.
