Program Description

Vaccine hesitancy remains a significant public health challenge, affecting immunization rates across all age groups and contributing to preventable disease outbreaks. Despite strong evidence supporting the safety and efficacy of vaccines, misinformation, health care disparities, and systemic barriers continue to erode public confidence and limit access to vaccines, particularly in underserved populations. In this panel discussion, expert speakers will explore strategies to overcome vaccine hesitancy through evidence-based practices, highlight the role of pharmacists in supporting recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices across the lifespan, and examine how immunization policies are developed and implemented. Attendees will gain practical insights to help drive vaccine confidence and improve uptake in both pediatric and adult patient populations.
