Program Description
This session will focus on understanding and interpreting continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) metrics. Faculty will integrate CGM data analysis with the ADA Standards of Care, demonstrating how these data, in conjunction with guideline recommendations, can optimize the care plan for individuals living with diabetes. Patient counseling strategies covering the interpretation of trend arrows, personalized alert settings, and appropriate responses to high and low glucose alerts will also be covered. Included patient counseling videos will illustrate best practices when reviewing CGM data and making real-time decisions based on CGM data.

- Determine when a pharmacy technician might refer a person living with diabetes using a CGM to a pharmacist for diabetes management support
